My Skin Regimen

Growing up I did not have the best skin. Once puberty hit, my face was never the same again. Dating back to sixth grade and up until recently I remember having bad acne.

Surprisingly, I never felt bad about my skin. I just ignored it and lived my best life. Recently, I noticed how bad my skin was getting and I decided to take action.

After November 2018, I made wiser decisions about what foods I put into my body and my skin care routine.

Eating right

Chocolate and soda are my worst enemies. Whenever I started to notice my face clearing up I would get comfortable and have an Oreo or something similar to treat myself and that would turn into a piece of candy or a soda or well you get the point.

Now, I’m drinking my recommended amount of water for the day and eating clean. After completing the green smoothie cleanse for the first time it really shocked my body. I noticed that before the cleanse I was eating until my stomach was firm and so full that I couldn’t eat anymore. Today, I have a green smoothie for breakfast and lunch, a snack in-between and really light dinner (mostly because I’m jealous of my fiancé eating what he wants and easily losing weight).

However, I don’t need the light dinner. I think it is a mental thing, HAVE to eat something solid.

Products I Use Daily

In the shower I use a cleanser:

After the shower I use a Serum/Toner/Moisturizer:

I started this regime in December of 2018 and noticed a significant change. It feels great seeing the true beauty of my skin and let me tell you this, my “Mielle Glow” is giving me life and confidence that I haven’t had in a long time!

Persistence

The only way to truly take care of your skin and body is persistence. Drink that water, skip that happy hour, eat those fruits and vegetables instead of those sweet and salty snacks. By doing so and completing my daily skin routine I am able to maintain my glow and receive compliments on a weekly basis.
